If you have more or fewer things to store than you thought, don’t worry. We don’t charge a transfer fee, and you can always move to a bigger or smaller unit at any time.
When you reserve your storage unit online, you’re also reserving its price and special offers. We’ll hold them all for you for 3 days.
It’s absolutely free to reserve a unit. You don’t even have to give us a credit card to make a reservation – your name, email address and telephone number are enough. And once you’ve made your reservation, there’s no obligation to rent. You can change or cancel your reservation at any time – again at no cost.

You’ll be asked for your driving licence or passport and to show that you’ve taken out insurance for your stored items.
The on-site manager will then fill in the contract with you, show you the unit, and answer any questions you may have.
Your on-site manager is available to answer any questions and offer advice, including how to use your space as efficiently as possible. At Shurgard you can rent a trailer for transporting furniture or large items. To make your move as smooth as possible, use one of the trolleys at the facility to help with unloading for free.
